My research is in Probability and Stochastic Processes, with a broad interest in the mathematical analysis of random phenomena. I am particularly interested in stochastic modelling, qualitative and asymptotic behaviour of stochastic systems, large deviation principles, statistical inference, and numerical methods for random models. My work is motivated by applications arising in fluid and continuum mechanics, mathematical biology, and related areas.

About me

My work combines rigorous stochastic analysis with computational methods for nonlinear evolution equations.

Currently, I am an Assistant Professor (Grade I) in the Department of Mathematics at the Indian Institute of Technology Indore, where I joined in July 2026.

Before joining IIT Indore, I was a faculty member at IIT Bhubaneswar from November 2022 to July 2026. Prior to that, I briefly served as an INSPIRE Faculty Fellow at NISER in 2022. I held postdoctoral positions at the University of Tübingen, Germany (April 2020–July 2022) and Montanuniversität Leoben, Austria (August 2019–March 2020).

I received my Ph.D. through the Integrated Ph.D. programme at IISER Thiruvananthapuram in 2019 under the supervision of Prof. Utpal Manna.

My research lies in the theoretical and numerical analysis of stochastic differential equations, with particular emphasis on stochastic partial differential equations (SPDEs). I am interested in questions related to well-posedness, qualitative behaviour, large deviation principles, and numerical approximation, including finite element and time-discretization methods. My current research themes include stochastic hyperbolic systems, chemotaxis models, magnetohydrodynamics and Boussinesq systems with non-Newtonian diffusion, Lévy-driven equations, and statistical inference for stochastic differential equations.
